What I will do with
the GoFundMe donations
I had a very dear friend ask me
the following question. “I am wondering if you are still planning to have
the tumor surgically removed until you raise the funds needed for the care you
desire to receive from Gerson?”
I am planning on having the cancerous
tumor surgically removed from my rectum on the 9th of April 2014, because I
cannot afford to wait to long and not do the Gerson Therapy or have surgery; if
I wait to long to do any of the therapies, the cancer could possible grow and
spread. However, I am still going to do the Gerson Therapy after the tumor has
been surgically removed, because that will set my body up to be able to repair
and fortify itself to the point where the cancer will not be able to return.
There are almost as many people who have done the Gerson Therapy that have had
surgery, radiation, and chemo first, as those who have elected not to go the
so-called traditional route of medicine all the way. If I had the money, I
would have gone to Gerson when I first found out that I had cancer. I have had
to rebuild my life from scratch more then once from going through divorce and
from being deathly ill in the past and given only two days to live. Because of
the timing of the dark night of my physical existence that has come to visit me
to make me stronger, I was living paycheck to paycheck. Nevertheless,
everything is in divine order and I am extremely grateful for everything I have
and am experiencing. If I cannot raise enough money to go to Gerson, I will get
counsel from Gerson personnel and do the home version of the therapy, if I have
enough money to do that. I am actually doing it partially now on my own, the
juicing (13 glasses of fresh juice per day) and some of the Gerson diet (mostly
raw); but there is much more to it then what I am doing right now.
The money that is donated to me
will also help me pay my rent and get food until I can find another source of
income. I was terminated from my job while I was in the hospital. It is in the
companies policy that anyone who is off from work for six weeks would be
terminated, no matter what the reason for being off from work. So I will be
using some of the money donated to me for my health needs, housing, and food. I
am looking for all types of work, that which I can do from home and any other
work that I am able to do that can offer me a steady income, so that I can
support myself and follow my passion, which helping others who are in need. I
know that many are having hard times financially nowadays. However, I am asking
for your help because I am dealing with more then just hard times. I am dealing
with a possible life or death situation here. Summer before last I lost my
adopted big sister Thelma to cancer. I tried to get her to go the wholistic
route of dealing with the cancer. However, she was at a different place then I
am, and had faith in the so-called traditional form of medicine. Because of
that she had chemo and radiation therapy, and then she had surgery. I was with
her and took care of her 24/7 for the last three months of her life. The cancer
was not what killed her; the chemo and radiation they gave to her is what killed
her.
Here again I must ask that you
donate to my fund for healing, and pass this on to your family and friends.
This is truly a very serious situation, and it is sad to say that the results
depend on money. Wow, the value of a life depends on how much money one has or
can get. The human existence here on this physical plane is really screwed up
and completely twisted out of shape. The ironic thing is this, on the deceptive
dollar bill it reads, “In God We Trust”. The major question here is this, what
god are you trusting in, and what god do you give your complete allegiance to? We
in this country and around the world must rethink our way of existing; we must
also examine the way that we care for each other. America has become a throw
away nation, and that does not mean that we are just throwing away material
things. Many American people are so brain washed that it is a normal occurrence
to throw away a elderly person, and hear people say, I have a life to live, I
do not have the time or money to take care of anyone but myself. Guess what? If
it were not for the person who is now elderly, we would not be here and we
would not have a body with breath and a heartbeat that gives that body life. One
day we will all get old if we are blessed to live a long life. We the people of
the world must stop making the blessing of life into a curse. Many of the people
of the world today have come to be consumption orientated; they are focused on having
the right amounts and the right kinds of material things. Well, being in the
frame of mind that they are in, they completely forget about others having the
bare necessities in life to live. Humanity has gotten so far away from its
original purpose for being here. To live a good life is now defined by how much
wealth one has; hoarding has becoming the norm. What good is it having more
then you can possibly use and there are those around you who are in desperate
need?
And
he said to them, “Take care, and be on your guard against all covetousness, for
one's life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions.” And he told
them a parable, saying, “The land of a rich man produced plentifully, and he
thought to himself, ‘What shall I do, for I have nowhere to store my crops?’
And he said, ‘I will do this: I will tear down my barns and build larger ones,
and there I will store all my grain and my goods. And I will say to my soul,
Soul, you have ample goods laid up for many years; relax, eat, drink, be merry.’
(Luke 12:15-21)
Do
not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to do
it. Do not say to your neighbor, “Go, and come again, tomorrow I will give it”—when
you have it with you. (Proverbs 3:27-28)
The
silver is mine, and the gold is mine, declares the Lord
of hosts. (Haggai 2:8 The Hebrew Bible)
Nothing
belongs to man; we are stewards of that which we have. We are given abundantly
so that we can bless those in need around us. Also, when we give we are
planting seeds of abundance that will bring in a harvest so that we can
continue to give. When we hoard for only ourselves, that which we are hoarding
starts to rot, then it is no good for anyone. We can never give too much; it is
also true that we can never give to little.
As Jesus looked up, he saw the rich
putting their gifts into the temple treasury. 2 He also saw a poor widow put in two very
small copper coins. 3 “Truly I tell you,” he said, “this poor widow has put
in more than all the others. 4 All these
people gave their gifts out of their wealth; but she out of her poverty put in
all she had to live on.” (Luke 21:1-4)
We must give that which we give from our hearts.
We must not give because of the blessings that we will receive from giving. We
must give because we truly want to and love helping those who are in need. I
had some friends years ago who had five children. The wife stayed at home
caring for the children and the father work for their support. Well they ended
up in a very difficult situation. The father lost his job and the family was
really struggling. I stopped by one day and realized what was happening with
that family, so I decided to help them. I went to the grocery store and bought
them groceries. There was nothing like seeing the eyes and bright faces of
those little children when I walked into the house with those bags of food.
Knowing that I am truly helping someone is reward enough for me. We must
realize that what hurts one hurts everyone in some way. Likewise, that which blesses
one blesses everyone.
I hope and pray that you will donate something. After
that I hope and pray that you will pass this message on to you family and
friends and ask the to help in whatever way they can. Beloved, we are all in
this together. Let us show that we know that by our actions. If nothing else,
Please Remember To Pray For Me. Thank you for everything!
