Shortcomings

.

Shortcomings
Many times we are looking for and trying to find shortcomings in others, to prove them wrong because that tends to make us feel better about ourselves, and it strokes our little egos. That is due to faulty programming that we have received while we were growing up; it is a learned behavior. In essence we feel that it makes us look better to show up others shortcomings, but that proves how weak we are and not how strong we think we are. That is as wrong as wrong can get. Why? Because all of us are one; in pointing out the faults in another, we are actually pointing out our faults and shortcomings. We must learn to care for each other as if others are ourselves. It is said that we should do unto others, as we would have them do unto us. That is not one religions truth it is Universal Truth.

Writing about this has brought me to my situation at hand once again. I had not planned on going in this direction in these scripted words but this is where I am being led from within my spirit. As some who are reading this know, I have been diagnosed with stage three rectal cancer and I am in need of money for treatment. Some have said my situation is my fault, and others should not have to bail me out for what I caused. I could go into all of the detail on how I got in this position, however I won’t go into all of the detail right now. If I could have afforded health insurance I would have gotten it. Actually my plan was working towards getting it in the very near future. However, the cancer appeared before I could implement my plan. If you saw a man lying in the street that had been hit by a car, would you leave him there to die because he was jaywalking? The average person with just a little compassion in their heart would not do such a thing. Well, this is like an accident that has befallen me and I need the help of my sisters and brothers who are passing by.

I have a very dear friend of mine of many years, who was upset over the amount of help I have received. She is African American/Black and she came from this point of view. We as a people have a problem; we do not know how to come to the aid of our brothers and sisters. We sit back and say, it is not my problem, or they should have prepared for times such as this. She pointed out that if everyone gave five dollars, the goal I am reaching for would have been met in no time at all; and I must agree with her. She also said that when other races are faced with similar situations, they come together as a community and help each other. This would not be so paramount if it were not a life and death situation. Some feel that I am better and there is nothing to worry about because I am at home now. Yes I am at home because I did not have the money to continue to stay in the hospital. I am still very sick, even though I am at home, and it is still a life or death situation I am dealing with. I had to stop writing this for a while because I was in pain. Do you understand what I am going through?

I must say that it is not just my African American/Black sisters and brothers who don’t understand the utter importance of this; it is many of my sisters and brothers of humanity that know about my situation. Are we our sisters and brothers keeper? Many would quickly answer no to that question. Nonetheless, the correct answer to that is yes, we are our sisters and brothers keeper, and that is because each and everyone of us are one; we are one big human family, and what affects one affects the entire family. Below is a bible scripture that relates to this very subject.

Luke 7 ~  New Testament

34 “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world.
35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in,
36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’
37 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink?
38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you?
39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’
40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’
41 “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.
42 For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink,
43 I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’
44 “They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?
45 “He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’
46 “Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.”

I am not one who believes in eternal punishment and hell like most traditional christians, but I do believe that there is a price to pay for not doing that which we are called to do, and we are called to help each other when we can. I know that times are hard for many, however as I stated before, if you can only afford to give a single dollar, every donation helps no matter how small it may be. Due to the fact that this is a life or death situation, I must continue to ask for assistance, as much as I do not want to. No matter what people say about me or how they judge me, I will continue as I am until I get what I need. As I do so I hope that you have compassion for me and the situation I find myself, and you donate something to this fund for my life, even if it is just one dollar. If it were you in the place that I am, without any question on how you got there I would be right there for you to help in as many ways as I possibly could. I hope and pray that you understand what I am saying and where I am coming from. Please do not allow this shortcoming to become the end of my life, or the end of life as I have come to know it. Your help is greatly needed now.

Please Assist Me With This Situation!

Those Days

.
"Life is full of beauty. Notice it. Notice the humble bee, the small child, and the smiling faces. Smell the rain, and feel the wind. Live your life to the fullest potential, and fight for your dreams."

Those Days
You know how there are those days when everything goes wrong. It seems like one thing after another goes haywire, which is because we give our negative attention and energy to everything that happens after we see and experience the first negative thing happening to us. We actually create the windfall of negativity that comes to visit us after one negative experience, and then we create a negative day and waddle in it. We must take that same principle we used when we were thinking on and focusing on the negative and bringing more of the negative to us, and focus on that which is positive to create and draw more positivity into our lives.

So in light of that, I am asking you to join me in making today a day of positivity. A day that we will create only that which is positive in nature and origin, and bring more joy to our lives and to the lives of our loved ones, friends, and those we come in contact with throughout the day. We can do this because we are the authors of our reality; we create everything that becomes a part of our surrounding worlds and our lives, either through our beliefs, thoughts, and/or programming from outside sources. We must learn how to go with in and still ourselves, and connect with Spirit with in our very own spirits, so we can learn what is best for us, learn the best things that we can create while we are living our lives. That is done solely by focus, belief, and action. Yes, what we believe and desire will bring us that which we desire, and that which we create in our lives and our surrounding worlds. Likewise, it will also bring into our lives that which we don't desire, if we give our focus to that which we don't won't or desire.

So please join me today in making this the Day of Positivity, we will only create that which is positive and that which brings others and us the most benefit in their lives and our lives.

Thoughts from an Awakening Soul

This is the introduction to the inspirational living book of my life. It has been a lifetime in the writing and visible on the walls of my mind. Now it is time to transcribe it in a way that others can share in it. Please join me in prayer, and send me energy so that I can transcribe it in a way that will be understood by all. I see this as the great honor that it is. Sharing our life experiences is not a small insignificant task; it is surely an enormous undertaking that exposes the most intimate experiences in ones life.  Deep within my being I strongly feel that my life should be an open book for all to see, because everything that I have done and will do is known by Mama-Baba Goddess-God, The Creator of all things. So why not share it with my sisters and brothers who I am one with in spirit. I undertake this endeavor with great joy, excitement and respect.

.

Introduction

This book has been a long time in the making. One thing that held up the writing of it was my belief that I was incapable of doing such a thing. So there were major personal hurdles that I had to overcome.  I had a very low self-esteem that I had been carrying since childhood. Thanks to continuous encouragement from many people who crossed my life path, many of which do not even know that they encouraged me; this book has become a reality.
The writing of this book in no way says that I have arrived, that I have all or most of the answers to life in general, or all or most of the answers to the experiences of my lifes journey. I have barely scratched the surface of the reality called life. Before I go any further that is something that I must share with you that is very important to me. In line with what I just shared, I must inform you that I emphatically reserve the right to change my mind in a split second when I find I am in error. Subsequently, if you notice that I am saying one thing today, and tomorrow I am saying something altogether different, do not categorize me as a hypocrite, because I am not. The bottom line is this; I have been made aware that what I believed to be truth was revealed to me to be otherwise. Because of that, I will change my mind the split second that I find out that I am in error. This is the story off mankind since the beginning of time. Did we not believe and adamantly profess that the world was flat, and also that the sun rotated around the earth? Well, all of that changed when the truth was clearly revealed for all to see, with evidence that backs up that reality. So if that which I believe is called into question, and I am proven to be in error, I will change my beliefs with no apologies. However, I will do my best to make the change known to as many people as I possibly can.
More than anything this book is written in the Sacred Energy of Love, and it sincerely comes from the very depths of my soul. It speaks of the internal spiritual growth that has and is continuing to take place within this experience that is known as my physical life, here on this dense temporal physical plane. I am honored and oh so grateful to Infinite Source, for the awakening that is taking place within me, which has facilitated the writing of this book. I hope, pray, and believe that this book will touch at least one person in such a way that it causes her or him to go deep within themselves and examine all that they believe and say that they know; then to make any changes necessary to align in a greater way with the absolute truth of Infinite Source.
In this book you will see that I call God by many names, Great Spirit, Great Mystery, The Divine, Infinite Source, Universal Intelligence, Creator, The One, Oneness, God, Mother-Father Goddess-God, Mama-Baba Goddess-God, The All, and a few other names. The bottom line here is this; I am recognizing the Divine Energy Force that is responsible for the creation of the whole of creation. I cannot say that the Creator is one or more energies or beings, because I do not know that. I simply know for sure that there is something divine out there and within us, which is without any doubt omniscient and omnipotent, and I consciously yield completely to that Divine Spiritual Energy without any hesitation whatsoever. I recognize also that Infinite Source is not solely one gender. Because of that divine reality, I completely recognize and honor both the Sacred Feminine and Sacred Masculine Energies of our Beloved Most High Mama-Baba Goddess-God.
This book is actually a compilation of inspirational writings done over a number of years. So you can use it by reading one inspiration at a time as a daily inspirational guide, or read it the same way that you would any other book.

Sacred Metaphor

Sacred Metaphor
I am in the place that I find myself right now, due to the reality that I stepped out of my Sacred Waters of Sustenance and Healing. I got so entrenched in my mind thinking about what I could do to make things better in the lives of others and in my life from an intellectual standpoint, that I got completely off track, and with each step up every rung of the intellectual ladder out of my Sacred Waters I actually thought that I was climbing up to do something good. However, I was deceived, because by the time I reached the top of the ladder, I realized that I should not have gotten out of my Sacred Waters of Sustenance and Healing because therein resided everything I needed. I should not have allowed my focus to get on things and people as I did. I should have maintained my focus on that which is eternal, only those things of the Spirit. What I did is a mis-take that is made by most, because we allow ourselves to get so attached to the physical, and consciously or subconsciously we start to identify ourselves more with that which is physical, and that in and of itself causes us to feel that we have to always be doing something, when most of the time we should be still and quiet. Acting in such a way causes us to falsely believe that we are in total control of our lives, and everything around us. We can take a certain amount of control of our lives however, we will surely be lacking in many things if we try to take full control. We can control some things; however we must turn over the majority of the control to Spirit. I am so glad that what I did in error has been revealed to me in time for me to correct it. I am sharing this with you because I hope it will help you avoid making the same mis-take I made. There is a price to pay for every mis-take; just as there is a reward for doing that which is in perfect alignment with our Sacred Spiritual Existence.

Caring for ourselves is just as important as it is that we care for others; yet many times we care and do more for others then we do for ourselves. There must be a balance when it comes to caring for others and caring for us; when it is out of balance either way there will be disappointment and a lot of trouble. When we care for ourselves in the proper way we benefit the whole of creation because we will be balanced in that which we do. In addition, when we care for others as we should, the whole of creation will likewise benefit. We need to start to see ourselves as a part of the whole of creation, and understand that everything we do and experience affects the whole of creation and not just us. We cannot have the mindset that what we are doing and experiencing is not affecting anyone else but ourselves. If you are anything like many people, you are harder on yourself than you are on others, and you do more for others than you do for yourself. Being that way is surely out of balance. So we must take the time necessary to care for ourselves as we should as well as others, doing so is a win-win situation.

Inspire

.

I was sent the following message from someone who read my blog; and following that is my response. The blog is unique that’s providing the nice material. Please post more interesting articles here.

It is truly my pleasure to be able to share as I do from the very depths of my soul here on my blog with my sisters and brothers in the ever present now, and then come to find out that what I am sharing has actually spoken to someone and touched them down to the core of their being brings me so much joy. You know what? That is what life is supposed to be about. I call it Sacred Reciprocity.

Now you may ask, what is reciprocity? Reciprocity is the practice of exchanging things with others for something of mutual benefit and value. The difference between just plain old reciprocity and Sacred Reciprocity is this; reciprocity deals with that which is natural; deals with that which is material in nature and tangible. Sacred Reciprocity is the exchange of that which is associated with the eternal, energetic and spiritual, and those planes that are invisible to the five senses.

You see, right now I am in the hospital dealing with rectal cancer and I am being ministered to by doctors, nurses, other professionals and friends; yet as I am being ministered to, I still have those I must continue to minister to. No matter how dark things may look, Sacred Reciprocity is always needed and at work. It does not matter how serious or how intense the things that we are dealing with in our human experiences are, there must always be an exchange of energy taking place.

Joy, Happiness and Unconditional Love

.

Joy, Happiness and Unconditional Love
One day last week I woke up from a dream with an abundance of Joy, Happiness and Unconditional Love bubbling up from deep within the very core of my spirit. You may be wondering why I woke up in such a glorious state that morning? Well, before waking up I had an intense dream; in that dream I was outside walking somewhere and there were children, walking around and playing. I was walking up a flight of steps and I faintly heard a soft monotone voice. At first I could not tell that faint voice was actually directed at me; then all of a sudden I recognized the voice; it was the voice of a little boy that lived at the apartment complexes where I worked. Every time I would near or in the apartment he lived in I would make sure to talk with him. When I would talk with him I always made sure that he knew that I not only saw him, I heard him as well; just as I did with his parents and everyone else I talked with. You see; I feel that it is extremely important that we get our children to the place of knowing that they are heard, and what they have to offer is just as important as what all adults have to offer. I am not saying that we should treat children in the exact same way that we treat adults, because we should not do that. Children must be treated as the individual and collective Evolving Sacred Beings that they are; however they must never be respected, and one very important way to do that is to find ways that cause them to know that they are seen, heard, respected and loved just as much as their elders.

In the somewhat dreaded state of mind I find myself from time to time, due to having been brought face to face with the reality that I have rectal cancer, which is the same condition that took my adopted big sisters life just summer before last. This little boy touched my heart in a profound joyful way because he showed me that I was successful in my communication with him. When I finally realized that he was talking to me, I turned around and saw his smiling face, I ran to him and hugged him. When I held him in my arms waves of joy, happiness and love washed over me like a soothing rainfall on a hot summer afternoon. There is nothing more mesmerizing then that of the energy we experience when we come to fully comprehend that we have touch someone to the core of their concern in love, especially that of a child. I think that is so because on a much higher level than our human comprehension, we are made aware that we have given to that child a gift, that is more valuable than silver and gold, or anything that is priceless.

You see, in the early years of a child’s life, they go through the process of rediscovering who they are in relationship to this dense physical realm. Adults rob the children of their conscious connection to their spiritual gifts, because of the narrow mindedness that adults have espoused. Our children are also left to have to deal with a very serious conflict of comprehension, based on the direction that some adults give them, which surely does not resonate with their young precious pristine spirits. Every adult must make sure that our children are on the path that will cause them to reach the sacred state of mind of knowing that they are eternal spiritual beings, as well as causing them to know that they are heard, respected, loved and needed. In addition they must also know that what they think, say, and do is just as important as what adults think, say, and do; and sometimes even more important than that of some adults.

We must reach the place of fully comprehending that the greatest gift we can ever give, is that of teaching our children how to freely give Unconditional Love, and honestly communicate with each other, which is surely a two way street of communion that we all must travel. We must build up the self-esteem of our children by showing them that they are seen, heard, needed, and most importantly loved as we withdraw from the action of belittling and tearing down their self-esteem. We just about completely destroy our children’s self-esteem when we do not pay them any attention. We are to help build up our children’s self-esteem by helping them find their own path through this sojourn called life. One of the biggest atrocities of all is to indoctrinate our children into a system that does not value their creative expression, nor encourage their unique individual sacred abilities. Why do you think that children are acting out like never before? Our children are acting out as they do because they are not recognized and cherished as they should be; nor are they sown the avenues they must travel to express their created abilities fully. We simply label them hypoactive and drug them into submission, because of our ignorance. Children are taking the blame for the adults that do not stand up and do their part in life as they should. A child is locked up for dealing with situations in a violent way, when actually they are simply reacting in the way they have been and are being taught to ac by adults. They see their mothers and fathers physically fighting and saying harsh harmful things to intentionally hurt each other, so the children follow the adult’s direction and do as they see their parents and other adults do.

Children are told by their parents and other adults to always be honest, because honesty is the best policy; yet when the doorbell or the telephone rings and it is someone they do not want to see or speak to, they tell the child to tell whoever it is that they are not home or they cannot talk now because they are busy and can’t stop doing what they are doing. That is the “Do As I Say, Not As I Do,” syndrome. We have set up our precious little children for failure, and robbed them of their innocence and their childhood by not showering them with Joy, Happiness, and Unconditional Love. It is time for us to wake up and start our journey on the Sacred Path of Total Spiritual Re-Call, the act of remembering who we truly are spiritually.

One way of starting our journey on the right path is to watch and listen to our children as they communicate and share with each other, and when we see that something is wrong, step in immediately in Love and give them the sacred guidance that they are in need of. We must have the humility of a child; humility opens the door to our Eternal Spiritual Kingdom. A child’s heart is open, pure, warm, trusting, and loving; we must do everything within our power to make sure that they see and follow that Path of Light that is designed specifically for them, not the path we choose for them and want them to follow. Adults cannot and should not try to live their lives through their children. All children have the right to live their lives as they see fit. Our children will never grow up if we are always standing in their way and directing their every move. We must learn to completely release our children and allow them to get the scrapes and bruises that they must experience, that is part of their rights of passage. Rights of Passage is something that I must write about in the very near future.

I hope that my scripted words are comprehendible today. I am on very strong pain medication and because of that it has taken me a very long time to complete one paragraph.

Namaste’
